The embroidery of the ancient Russian costume as a narrative tool told a certain story of a person's life, his status in signs and symbols. I took this idea as a basis and made 16 illustrations that tell about the stage of a woman's life from adolescence
to marriage and starting a family.

Вышивка древнерусского костюма, как средство повествования, рассказывала историю жизни человека, его статус в знаках и символах. Я взяла эту идею за основу и сделала 16 изображений, повествующих об этапе жизни женщины от юности до замужества и создания семьи.

Based on the illustrations, a pattern was created for printing
on fabric and then the caftan was sewn.

На основе иллюстраций была создана выкройка
для печати на ткани, а затем был сшит кафтан.

On the one hand, I keep the tradition of telling the story of life through clothes. On the other hand, I transfer the very image and method of narration to the modern form and environment, as a continuation of the transformation of memories
in time.This is a story about a woman and her memories, which she keeps and transmits through things and states. Illustrations, photographs and the caftan are a part of her memories.

С одной стороны, я сохраняю традицию рассказывать историю жизни через одежду. С другой стороны,
я переношу сам образ и способ повествования
в современную форму и среду, как продолжение трансформации воспоминаний во времени. Это история
о женщине и ее воспоминаниях, которые она хранит
и передает через вещи и состояния. Иллюстрации, фотографии и кафтан являются частью ее воспоминаний.
